René Gardien
René Auguste Gardien (10 February 1928 – 1 February 2006) was a French footballer who played as a forward, most notably at FC Sochaux, and scored 122 league goals and 2 international goals. He later became a manager. Playing career Gardien played for Sochaux from July 1947 to June 1959, and then one season each at Lille and Besançon. He played for the France national team in two friendlies in 1953, scoring 2 goals in the first, against Wales. Managerial career From 1962 to 1969, Gardien was a manager at Thiers. After one season managing at Grenoble, he managed Lille from 1970 to 1973, Montluçon from 1974 to 1983, and Clermont from 1988 to 1990. Albert Eloy (30 June 1927 in Bully-les-Mines – 8 December 2008 in Troyes) is a former French footballer. He played as defender for Sedan. With the Ardennes club, he was the winner of the Coupe de France in 1956. He repeated the achievement three years later, with Le Havre AC, the club where he finished his career. He was manager of SM Caen from 1961 to 1962. He also competed in the men's tournament at the 1952 Summer Olympics. Rolf Yngve Brodd (9 June 1930 – 23 September 2016) was a Swedish professional footballer who played as a striker. He began his career with Fritsla IF and went on to represent Örebro SK, Toulouse, and Sochaux before retiring at IFK Göteborg in 1964. A full international from 1952 to 1963, he won 20 caps and scored 12 goals for the Sweden national team and was part of the Sweden squad that won bronze at the 1952 Summer Olympics. Club career Brodd began his club career with Fritsla IF, and signed for Örebro SK after having scored 32 goals in 33 games in the lower divisions.
