The 1956–57 Copa México was the 41st edition of the Copa México and the 14th staging in the professional era. Thirteen teams from Primera División and three from Segunda División participated. The competition started on March 3, 1957, and concluded on April 28, 1957, with the Final, held at the Estadio Olímpico de la Ciudad de los Deportes in Mexico City, in which Zacatepec Zacatepec Fútbol Club is a Mexican professional football club based in Zacatepec, Morelos, that competes in Liga Premier, the third level division of Mexican football. Atlas Fútbol Club is a Mexican professional football club based in Guadalajara. The club currently plays in Liga MX, the top division of Mexican football. Overtime (sports)
Overtime (OT) or extra time (ET) is an additional period of play to bring a game to a decision and avoid declaring the match a tie or draw where the scores are the same. In some sports, this extra period is played only if the game is required to have a clear winner, as in single-elimination tournaments where only one team or players can advance to the next round or win the tournament and replays are not allowed. Club Deportivo Real Zamora is a Mexican football club that plays in the Liga Premier - Serie B, however, from 2019 to 2020 season, the club is on hiatus because the club is in a process to improve its facilities and aspire to a promotion to the Liga de Expansión MX.
