1937–38 Cupa României
The 1937–38 Cupa României was the fifth edition of Romania's most prestigious football cup competition. The title was won by Rapid București, after they scored 3 goals in a final against CAM Timișoara. Format The competition is an annual knockout tournament with pairings for each round drawn at random. There are no seeds for the draw. The draw also determines which teams will play at home. Each tie is played as a single leg. If a match is drawn after 90 minutes, the game goes in extra time, and if the scored is still tight after 120 minutes, there a replay will be played, usually at the ground of the team who were away for the first game. From the first edition, the teams from Divizia A entered in competition in sixteen finals, rule which remained till today. FC Rapid București
Fotbal Club Rapid 1923, commonly known as Rapid București () or simply as Rapid, is a Romanian professional association football, football club based in Bucharest, that competes in the Liga I. It was founded in 1923 by employees of the Grivița workshops as the ''Asociația Culturală și Sportivă Căile Ferate Române, CFR'' (). Domestically, Rapid București is one of the most successful clubs in the country, having won three national titles, 13 Cupa României, and four Supercupa României. AMEF Arad
Vagonul Arad was a football club based in Arad, Romania. It was founded in 1911 and it soon became one of the best teams from Arad. It was affiliated to Astra Arad rail equipment manufacturing company. It was dissolved in 2006. Phoenix Baia Mare
Phoenix Baia Mare was a football club based in Baia Mare, Romania. It was founded in 1932 and dissolved in 2000. The club of the Chemical Factory from Baia Mare, was founded in 1932 and the first leaders were: Petru Wider (Chairman), Şt. Vadász (Sports Director) and Al. Cireşa (General Secretary). Dacia Unirea Brăila
Dacia (, ; ) was the land inhabited by the Dacians, its core in Transylvania, stretching to the Danube in the south, the Black Sea in the east, and the Tisza in the west. Club Sportiv Municipal Lugoj, commonly known as CSM Lugoj, or simply as Lugoj, is a Romanian football club from Lugoj, Timiș County, Romania.
