The 1936 season of the Primera División Unificada, was a promotion championship that was played in a single season in 1936. Club Deportivo Municipal
Club Centro Deportivo Municipal, commonly known as Deportivo Municipal, is a Peruvian football club based in Lima, Peru. They are among Peru's most recognizable clubs and enjoy considerable popularity. The bulk of their success came a few years after the club was founded in 1935. The club was a top-flight contender during this period and won four Primera División titles. The club suffered relegation three times in their history: 1967, 2000, and 2007. They have also been champions of the Segunda División on three occasions: 1968, 2006, and 2014, granting them promotion to the first division. They currently compete in the Peruvian Tercera División. 1935 Ligas Provinciales De Lima Y Callao
The 1935 Ligas Provinciales de Lima y Callao, the second division of Peruvian football (soccer), was played by 11 teams (5 from the Liga Provincial de Lima (Primera B) and 6 from the Liga Provincial del Callao). The tournament winners, Atlético Chalaco and Sporting Tabaco was promoted to the 1937 Peruvian Primera División. From 1931 until 1942 the points system was W:3, D:2, L:1, walkover:0. In this season, the results of a reserve teams league were added as bonus points. For this new championship some changes were made with respect to the previous tournament. To begin with, the participating teams were divided into two categories. Of the nine teams from the previous year, Alianza Lima, Universitario, Sucre, Sport Boys and Sportivo Tarapacá Ferrocarril remained in the main division, called Primera A, which ranked in the top five places. Progresista Apurímac was a Peruvian football club, playing in the city of Callao, Lima, Peru. History The Club Social Progresista Apurímac was founded on October 11, 1932. After winning the División Intermedia del Callao in 1935, they qualified for the 1936 Primera División Unificada de Lima y Callao, where they failed to obtain promotion to the 1937 Peruvian Primera División, which remained in the hands of Deportivo Municipal and Sportivo Melgar. The club participate in the 1938 Peruvian Primera División, but was relegated in the same year with Alianza Lima. The Club Social Progresista Apurímac participated in the Peruvian Segunda División and was the runner-up in the 1943 season. Georges Antoine Chavez (January 13, 1887 – September 27, 1910), also known as Jorge Chávez or Géo Chavez, was a Peruvian aviator. At a young age, he achieved fame for his aeronautical feats. He died in 1910 after a heavy wind broke the wings of his fragile airplane Bleriot XI, falling from a twenty-meter height upon landing, after achieving the first air crossing of the Pennine Alps. Early life Gerges Chavez was born in Paris, France to Peruvian parents Manuel Chávez Moreyra and María Rosa Dartnell y Guisse. He studied at the Violet School, from which he graduated with an engineer's degree in 1908.
