1935–36 Cypriot Cup
The 1935–36 Cypriot Cup was the second edition of the Cypriot Cup. A total of 8 clubs entered the competition. It began on 13 October 1935 with the quarterfinals and concluded on 3 November 1935 with the final which was held at GSP Stadium. Enosis Neon Trust won their 2nd Cypriot Cup trophy after beating Lefkoşa Türk Spor Kulübü 1–0 in the final. Format In the 1935–36 Cypriot Cup, participated all the teams of the Cypriot First Division. The competition consisted of three knock-out rounds. In all rounds each tie was played as a single leg and was held at the home ground of one of the two teams, according to the draw results. Each tie winner was qualifying to the next round. If a match was drawn, extra time was following. If extra time was drawn, there was a replay match. Cypriot Cup
The Cypriot Cup, formally known as the Cypriot Coca-Cola Cup of First and Second Division () for sponsorship purposes, is a Cypriot knockout football club competition, hosted annually by the Cyprus Football Association. First held in 1934, it is the second most important competition in Cypriot football, after the Cypriot First Division. Since 2008, it is contested by teams from the first and Cypriot Second Division, second division, while teams from the Cypriot Third Division, third and STOK Elite Division, fourth division compete in the Cypriot Cup for lower divisions. The winners of the Cypriot Cup qualify for one of UEFA competitions, UEFA's European competitions, and a place in the Cypriot Super Cup. Enosis Neon Trust
Enosis Neon Trust (, ''Enosi Neon Trust'', "Youth Union Trust") was a Cypriot football club based in Nicosia. It was a founding member of the Cyprus Football Association. The disbanding of the Pancyprian Football Organization (, "Pagkypria Organosi Podosfairou (POP)") in 1924 led to the creation of two new clubs: Trust AC and Panergatikos. Trust took their name from the English word ''trust''. The first Cypriot Championship and first Cypriot Cup were organized in 1934/35 and Trust won both competitions, thus becoming double winners for the first time in Cypriot football history. In the cup final of 1934,/35 Trust beat APOEL 1–0 in the replay final. The first leg was 0-0. They were again cup winners in 1935/36, when they beat LTSK 4–1, but were beaten in the final the following season by APOEL Nicosia, with the game ending 2–1. EPA Larnaca (, ''Enosis Pezoporikou Amol'') was a Cypriot football club based in the city of Larnaca. Founded in 1930 with the merge of two local clubs, Pezoporikos and AMOL, the club was a founding member of Cyprus Football Association and participated in the first Cypriot Championship in 1934/35. Few years later, Pezoporikos was re-established. The golden era of the club was in the period 1944–1946, when the team won the Double in two consecutive seasons.
