The Boston Bruins are a professional ice hockey team based in Boston. Harold Darragh
Harold Edward "Howl" Darragh (September 13, 1902 – April 28, 1993) was a Canadian ice hockey right winger who played eight seasons in the National Hockey League for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Philadelphia Quakers, Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs between 1925 and 1933. He was born in Ottawa, Ontario. He won his only Stanley Cup in 1932 with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Harold was a younger brother of the NHL player Jack Darragh. He was the last surviving former player of the Pittsburgh Pirates. He is buried at Beechwood Cemetery in Ottawa. Leo Bourgeault
Joseph Armand Leo Bourgault (January 17, 1903 - July 14, 1978) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He played in the National Hockey League with four teams between 1926 and 1935. He was born in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario. Playing career Bourgault started his National Hockey League career with the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1926. He also played for the New York Rangers, Ottawa Senators, and Montreal Canadiens. He left the NHL after the 1934 season. Syd Howe
Sydney Harris Howe (September 18, 1911 – May 20, 1976) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player. Howe played 17 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Ottawa Senators, Philadelphia Quakers, Toronto Maple Leafs, St. Louis Eagles and Detroit Red Wings. Playing career Howe played in the NHL from 1929–30 to 1945–46 primarily with the Detroit Red Wings where he would enjoy his greatest personal and team successes. One of the leading scorers of his era, Syd Howe was a part of three Stanley Cup championships with the Red Wings. Syd Howe often skated on Patterson's Creek and the Rideau Canal with his brother Lawrence 'Pete' Howe while growing up in his hometown of Ottawa, Ontario. Al Shields
John Allan Shields (May 10, 1907 - September 24, 1975) was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who played eleven seasons in the National Hockey League for the Ottawa Senators, Philadelphia Quakers, New York Americans, Montreal Maroons and Boston Bruins between 1927 and 1938. Playing career During the 1934–35 NHL season Shields won the Stanley Cup Championship with the Montreal Maroons. Awards and achievements Shields played in the longest game in NHL history: Montreal Maroons vs. Detroit Red Wings, March 1936. In 1934 he was selected to the first NHL All-Star team ever assembled. The Philadelphia Quakers were a professional ice hockey team that played only one full season in the National Hockey League (NHL), 1930–31 NHL season, 1930–31, at the Philadelphia Arena in Philadelphia. Lionel Conacher
Lionel Pretoria Conacher ( ; May 24, 1900 – May 26, 1954), nicknamed "the Big Train", was a Canadian athlete and politician. Voted the country's top athlete of the first half of the 20th century, he won championships in numerous sports. His first passion was Canadian football; he was a member of the 1921 Grey Cup champion Toronto Argonauts. He was also a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs baseball team that won the International League championship in 1926. In hockey, he won the Memorial Cup in 1920, and the Stanley Cup twice: with the Chicago Black Hawks in 1934 and the Montreal Maroons in 1935. Additionally, he won wrestling, boxing and lacrosse championships during his playing career.
