Founded in 1924, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Superettan, the second highest league in the Swedish football, Swedish men's football league system. Seasons run from late March or early April to the beginning of November, with the 16 clubs all meeting each other twice, resulting in a 30-match season, for a total of 240 matches league-wide. Allsvenskan is ranked 23rd in the UEFA coefficients of leagues based on performances in European competitions over the last five years. Idrottsföreningen Kamraterna Norrköping, more commonly known as IFK Norrköping or simply Norrköping, is a Swedish professional association football, football club based in Norrköping. Sven Jonasson
Sven Jonasson (9 July 1909 – 17 September 1984) was a Swedish Association football, football Striker (association football), striker and Manager (association football), manager. Career He played for Sweden at the 1936 Summer Olympics. He was born in Borås and died in Varberg. He played for IF Elfsborg and the Sweden men's national football team, for whom he appeared in the 1934 FIFA World Cup, 1934 and 1938 FIFA World Cup, 1938 World Cups. He scored two goals in 1934 and one in 1938. Jonasson holds the record for most goals (252 goals) and most consecutive games (344 games, 1927–1941) in Allsvenskan (top level of Swedish football). In 1936 he is mentioned in a Danish source for playing as a "false 9" when playing against a team using a WM-formation. Harry Dahl (footballer)
Harry Dahl (25 June 1902 – 2 December 1986), nicknamed Hacke, was a Swedish footballer who played as a forward. His older brother Albin Dahl was also a footballer. Career With 334 goals, he is Landskrona BoIS's top goal scorer of all time. Also like his brother, he began to play football in a Landsrona-based club called ''BK Argos''. When Landskrona BoIS was founded in 1915, Albin began to play for them, but Harry was too young. A few years later he was old enough to join his brother Albin in Landskrona BoIS. As soon as 1922, both he and Albin moved to neighbouring Helsingborg to play for Landskrona rivals Helsingborg IF. Unlike Albin, Harry only played one season in Helsingborg and then returned to Landskrona and BoIS in conjunction with the inaugural season of the first national Swedish league, Allsvenskan. Sven Rydell
Sven Åke Albert Rydell (14 January 1905 – 4 April 1975) was a Swedish footballer who played as a forward. He represented Holmens IS, Örgryte IS, and Redbergslids IK during a club career that spanned between 1920 and 1934. A full international between 1923 and 1932, he won 43 caps and scored 49 goals for the Sweden national team. He scored five goals at the 1924 Summer Olympics where Sweden finished third.
