1919–20 Primera Fuerza Season
The 1919–20 season was the 18th edition of the Liga Mexicana de Football Amateur Association. The season started with 9 teams with the return of Club México, Asturias FC joined the league. However, Tigres México were expelled for not showing up in their last 3 matches and all their matches were annulled. While España FC and España Veracruz withdrew. It was the last season before the separation of the league (''Liga Mexicana'' and ''Liga Nacional''). Primera Fuerza
Campeonato de Primera Fuerza (), later known as Liga Mayor (), was an amateur association football league in Mexico. It was founded and organized by the Federación Mexicana de Football Asociación (), which was the first governing body of Mexican football, after the merger of the ''Liga Mexicana'' and ''Liga Nacional''. Asturias FC won the inaugural season and CD Marte were the last champions. It had the total participation of 18 teams, of which only two teams played their matches outside of Mexico City. The league was held from 1922 to 1943, when the first true national and professional league was started. 1920–21 Primera Fuerza Season
The 1920–21 season was divided into two leagues, Liga Mexicana () and Liga Nacional (). After the expulsion of Tigres México from the league, España FC and España Veracruz withdrew in solidarity. España FC changed its name to Real Club España and decided to form their own league called Liga Nacional. Due to the separation of the leagues, the champions were annulled by the amateur organizing body, which was the Asociación de Aficionados de México en la Liga de Football ().
