1917–18 Primera Fuerza Season
The 1917–18 season was the 16th edition of the Liga Mexicana de Football Amateur Association. The filial team España FC "B" left the league, while España FC and Germania FV withdrew and all their matches were annulled. Club América joined the league and Junior Club returned. Primera Fuerza
Campeonato de Primera Fuerza (), later known as Liga Mayor (), was an amateur association football league in Mexico. It was founded and organized by the Federación Mexicana de Football Asociación (), which was the first governing body of Mexican football, after the merger of the ''Liga Mexicana'' and ''Liga Nacional''. Asturias FC won the inaugural season and CD Marte were the last champions. It had the total participation of 18 teams, of which only two teams played their matches outside of Mexico City. The league was held from 1922 to 1943, when the first true national and professional league was started. Centro Deportivo Español
Centro Deportivo Español was a Mexican football club based in Mexico City, that played in the Liga Mexicana de Football Amateur Association (1915–1917, 1918–1920). History Deportivo Español was founded in 1914 by the Spanish migrates that lived in Mexico City. Spanish during this time period began forming many clubs in Mexico City. Among Deportivo Español there were, Club España in 1912, Club Cataluya in 1917, Asturias in 1918, and Aurrerá in 1919 . The club began to participate in the league from the 1914–15 to 1919–20. During this period of time, people that had arrived to Mexico from Europe began forming clubs. Junior Club
Junior Club is a Mexican sports club located in Mexico City. Nowadays the club hosts many sports, mainly tennis and baby football. Junior's Senior football team played in the Mexican Amateur League prior to the professionalization and development of the Primera División de México in 1943. History "Junior Club" was founded in 1906 by initiative of Father Camilo Crivelli (1874–1954), who was in charge of the local church by then. In 1908 Pablo Alexanderson, who lived in San Pedro de los Pinos, a small village in the outskirts of Mexico City, bought the club and mainly used it for the practice of tennis and baseball although football continued to being practised. In 1915 the football squad enrolled into the Primera Fuerza, the only organized league at that time. The club was finally admitted in 1917 under the name "Club Junior México". Club de Fútbol América S.A. de C.V., commonly known as Club América, is a professional association football, football club based in Mexico City.
