1909–10 Western Football League
The 1909–10 season was the 18th in the history of the Western Football League. After Division One was scrapped at the end of the previous season, the members clubs all having resigned to concentrate on the Southern League, the Western League became a single-division league for the first time since the inaugural 1892–93 season. Western Football League
The Western Football League is a association football, football league in South West England, covering Bristol, Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, western Dorset, parts of Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. The league's current main sponsor is Jewson, so it is also known as the Jewson Western League for sponsorship reasons. Recent restructuring of the English football league system has placed the two divisions, known as the Premier Division and Division One (each a maximum of twenty-two clubs) at the ninth and tenth tiers overall, known as Step 5 and Step 6 of the National League System. The champion club get promoted to a Step 4 league, which in practice will almost certainly be the Southern Football League, Southern League Division One South. Radstock is a town and civil parish on the northern slope of the Mendip Hills in Somerset, England, about south-west of Bath, Somerset, Bath and north-west of Frome. Treharris is a small town and community (and electoral ward) in the Taff Bargoed Valley in the south of Merthyr Tydfil County Borough, South Wales.
