Therefore, if the match was level after 90 minutes, extra time was played. If the match was still level after extra-time, the match was replayed until a winner emerged. Akademisk Boldklub Gladsaxe (AB) is a Denmark, Danish professional football (soccer), football club from Gladsaxe north of Copenhagen, currently playing at the 3rd highest level of Danish domestic football in the Danish 2nd Division group 1. Kjøbenhavns Boldklub
Kjøbenhavns Boldklub (known simply as KB) was a Danish professional multi-sports club based in Copenhagen. The club was founded on 26 April 1876 on the grassy fields in outer Copenhagen which later became Fælledparken. Tennis has been played since 1883. The club hosted, in 1921, one of the early tennis majors: the World Covered Court Championships, won by William Laurentz that year. Today, along with the sports already mentioned, the club also has facilities for badminton, swimming and pétanque. Ironically, no winner emerged in the end, as three teams finished level at 6 points with three wins each, and therefore no winner of the tournament was declared. 1893–94 Football Tournament
The 1893–94 Football Tournament was the 5th staging of The Football Tournament. It was contested by 5 teams. In case of a tie, extra-time was played, but unlike the previous seasons in the league, matches that ended in a draw after extra time were not replayed. The match between Akademisk Boldklub and Kjøbenhavns Boldklub in the spring of 1894, which ended in a 3–3 draw after extended playing time, thus became the first draw in the history of the Football Tournament that was not replayed. Akademisk Boldklub won the championship for the third consecutive season. At the time, winning three consecutive championships entitled the holder to the legitimate property of the cup, thus Boldklub gained the right to keep the trophy. Overtime (sports)
Overtime (OT) or extra time (ET) is an additional period of play to bring a game to a decision and avoid declaring the match a tie or draw where the scores are the same. In some sports, this extra period is played only if the game is required to have a clear winner, as in single-elimination tournaments where only one team or players can advance to the next round or win the tournament and replays are not allowed. Boldklubben Frem (also known as Frem, BK Frem or BK Frem Copenhagen) is a Danish sports club based in the Valby- Sydhavnen area of Copenhagen. It is best known for its semi-professional football team and its youth academy. Since its foundation in 1886, Frem has won the Danish Championships six times and the Danish Cup twice. Until the disastrous bankruptcy in 1993, Frem had played in the top division all but six seasons. After the bankruptcy the club fought its way back to the top of Danish football, but in 2010 it went bankrupt again and was demoted to the Copenhagen Series—the fifth tier in the Danish league system.
