16 Carat Gold Tournament (wXw)
The 16 Carat Gold Tournament is an annual single-elimination tournament produced by the Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw) promotion. The sixteen-man tournament was first conceived by wXw in 2006 and has been held every year since then with the exception of the 2021 edition which was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since 2007, the tournament winner has received a championship opportunity for the wXw Unified World Wrestling Championship, the promotion's top title, with a few exceptions due to championship vacancy. is a Japanese professional wrestler currently signed to Pro Wrestling Noah. He is a record-holding five time former GHC Heavyweight Champion. Turbinenhalle Oberhausen
The Turbinenhalle is a music and cultural venue on Mülheimerstraße in Oberhausen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The complex opened in 1909 to generate power to the ''Gutehoffnungshütte'' coal and steel engineering company which was based in Oberhausen until 1986. After a number of years derelict, the building was reopened as a disco in 1993 and has since evolved into one of the largest venues in the surrounding area. The complex consists of numerous rooms of varying sizes. The largest room is Turbinenhalle 1 with a capacity of approximately 3,500 - followed by Turbinenhalle 2 which fits approximately 1,800. The wXw Unified World Wrestling Championship is a professional wrestling world heavyweight championship, contested in the German professional wrestling promotion, Westside Xtreme Wrestling.
