15th Operational Brigade (Ukraine)
The 15th Operational Assignment Kara Dag Mountain, Kara Dag Brigade "Hero of Ukraine Lieutenant Bohdan Zavada" is a brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine. It is a part of the Offensive Guard (Ukraine), Ukrainian Offensive Guard and was established as the 9th Special Purpose Regiment in 1994 at the village of Shiroky, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, Shiroky in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. It has taken part in multiple engagements throughout the Russo-Ukrainian war and is currently deployed on the frontlines in Pokrovsk, Ukraine, Pokrovsk. It is currently headquartered in Zaporizhzhia, Zaporizhzhia City. Kara Dag Mountain
The Karadag (, – translated as ''black mount'') is a volcano, volcanic rock formation which rises to a height of 577 meters between the Crimean coastal town of Koktebel, Köktöbel and the Otuz (river), Otuz river valley. It has been the site of since the early 20th century. Some 2874 ha of coastline and 809 ha of coastal waters have been protected as the Karadag Nature Reserve since 1979. The littoral is rich in picturesque cliffs such as the Devil's Gate (Crimea), Devil's Gate. Hero Of Ukraine
A Hero of Ukraine (HOU; ) is the highest national decoration that can be conferred upon an individual citizen by the president of Ukraine. The decoration was created in 1998 by President Leonid Kuchma. As of 6 June 2025, the total number of recipients had been 1109. Additionally, at least 29 decrees assigned have not been published. Melitopol
Melitopol is a city and municipality in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, southeastern Ukraine. It is situated on the Molochna River, which flows through the eastern edge of the city into the Molochnyi Lyman estuary. John the Warrior (, , ''Ioann Voin'') or John the Soldier in the Catholic Church is a Christian saint and martyr. He was born in the 4th century and lived until his death in the Byzantine Empire. Stepanivka
Stepanivka (), in Ukraine, is the site of an ancient settlement dating to 5000 - 4300 B.C. belonging to the Cucuteni-Trypillian culture. The settlement was for the time large, covering an area of 15 hectares. This proto-city are just one of 2440 Cucuteni-Trypillia settlements discovered so far in Moldova and Ukraine. 194 (8%) of these settlements had an area of more than 10 hectares between 5000 - 2700 B.C. and more than 29 settlements had an area in the range 100 - 300 - 450 Hectares.
