120 Days
120 Days was a Norwegian rock band. Biography The band comprises Jonas Dahl, Arne Kvalvik, Kjetil Ovesen, and Ådne Meisfjord, and was formed in Kristiansund in 2001 under the name The Beautiful People. When they changed their name, they took the new name from the Marquis De Sade's ''120 Days Of Sodom''. Originally based in Kristiansund, they moved to Oslo in 2002. After two EPs on the Public Demand label, the group signed to the Norwegian independent label Smalltown Supersound. Their first album, ''120 Days'', was released on 10 October 2006, and had several positive reviews in North American publications.- - The group toured the United States shortly after the album's release. 120 started producing new material for a record after returning to Oslo in 2008, following major touring around the United States and Europe. Kristiansund (, ; historically spelled Christianssund and earlier named Fosna) is a municipality on the western coast of Norway in the Nordmøre district of Møre og Romsdal county. The administrative center of the municipality is the town of Kristiansund (established in 1742), which is the major town for the whole Nordmøre region. My Midnight Creeps
My Midnight Creeps (initiated 2003 in Oslo, Norway) was a Norwegian rock band fronted by deceased Madrugada-guitarist Robert Burås and Ricochets-guitarist Alex Kloster-Jensen. Biography Other members included Dag Stiberg on tenor saxophone, Behzad Farazollahi on drums, Anders Møller on percussion and Raymond Jensen on bass. Keyboardist Mikael Lindqvist also appeared on their first album, ''My Midnight Creeps''. The band's music carried inspiration from The Stooges, as well as The Rolling Stones and The Animals. Their critically acclaimed second album ''Histamin'' received six out of six points in a review in Norwegian newspaper '' Verdens Gang''. Spellemannprisen, often referred to as the Norwegian Grammy Awards in English, is a Norwegian music award presented to Norwegian musicians. The award was established by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), an organization that represents the interests of the recording industry worldwide.
