Yakut Scripts
There are 4 stages in the history of Yakut writing systems: * until the early 1920s – writing based on the Cyrillic alphabet; * 1917–1929 – Novgorodov's writing system, which is based on the Latin alphabet; * 1929–1939 – a unified alphabet on the Latin basis; * since 1939 – writing based on the Cyrillic alphabet.
