Nina Josu (born February 17, 1953, in Țiganca) is a writer and activist from Moldova. She is the head of the Association for Romanian Literature and Culture "ASTRA" - "Onisifor Ghibu". Cantemir District
Cantemir () is a district () in the south of Moldova, with the administrative center at Cantemir. As of January 1, 2011, its population was 62,800. History Localities with the earliest documentary attestation of the district are: Haragîș, Stoianeuca, Lărguța, Cîrpești localities approved for the first time in the period 1443-1489. In the 16th and 17th centuries, most of all to develop trade, agriculture and there is a significant population increase. Operation München () was the Romania, Romanian codename of a joint Nazi Germany, German-Romanian offensive during the Operation Barbarossa, German invasion of the Soviet Union in World War II, with the primary objective of recapturing Bessarabia, Northern Bukovina and the Hertsa region, ceded by Romania to the Soviet Union a year before (Soviet occupation of Bessarabia and Northern Bukovina).
