A former amateur in two sports, Lătescu notched over 150 wins in amateur kickboxing, and is the youngest senior heavyweight champion in the amateur boxing history of Romania. He is still undefeated nationally in boxing. As of 1 May 2025, Lătescu is ranked the #6 light-heavyweight in the world. K-Jee (born 5 November 1990) is a Japanese male kickboxer and the former K-1 Cruiserweight Champion and the former Krush Cruiserweight champion. Kickboxing career He took part in the 2017 Heavyweight Grand Prix, but lost to the eventual winner Antonio Plazibat in the quarterfinals. He bounced back with a TKO win over Shinya Uemura, during Krush 89. K-Jee participated in the 2018 K-1 Cruiserweight Grand Prix, for the inaugural K-1 Cruiserweight title. Krush (kickboxing)
Krush is a martial arts entertainment planning and promotional brand established in 2008. Currently based in Japan, it is the sister brand of K-1. Krush promotes kickboxing events across ten male and three female weight classes. It is considered to be the second tier of K-1, and has produced numerous K-1 competitors; such as Takeru Segawa, Tatsuya Tsubakihara and Yuki Egawa.
