Mircea Drăgan (3 October 1932 – 31 October 2017) was a Romanian film director. He directed 23 films between 1955 and 1992. His 1961 film ''Thirst'' was entered into the 2nd Moscow International Film Festival where it won the Silver Prize. Two years later, his film '' Lupeni 29'' was entered into the 3rd Moscow International Film Festival and it also won the Silver Prize. He was a member of the jury at the 4th Moscow International Film Festival. His 1973 film ''Explosion'' was entered into the 8th Moscow International Film Festival where it won a Diploma. Sebastian Papaiani (; 25 August 1936 – 27 September 2016) was a Romanian film and television actor. He was born in Pitești; his father was of Greeks, Greek origin. He graduated from the Caragiale National University of Theatre and Film, Theatrical Arts and Cinematography Institute in 1960, debuting in the Geo Saizescu comedy ''Un surâs în plină vară'' (1963). Iurie Darie (; 14 March 1929 – 9 November 2012) was a Romanian actor. Biography He was born in Vadul-Rașcov, Soroca County, Kingdom of Romania. He studied at the Academy of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in Bucharest, graduating in 1952. He made his film debut in 1953, playing Miron in '' The Bugler's Grandsons''. In 2002, Darie received the National Order of Faithful Service with the rank of Knight for his prestigious artistic career. Born in Arbore, Suceava County, Cozorici graduated in 1956 from the I. L. Caragiale National University of Theatre and Film, I. L. Caragiale Institute of Theatre and Film Arts in Bucharest.
