Șoimii Sibiu
Șoimii Sibiu (Falcons Sibiu) was a Romanian football team from Sibiu. They were founded in 1913 and disappeared in 2001. They were a main team in Sibiu, being four times regional champions of Sibiu. Their best pre-war performance was defeating the 6-time-in-a-row champion Chinezul Timişoara in 1927–28 quarter-finals. But after that they forfeited their semi-final tie against Jiul Lupeni. They also played three seasons in the Divizia A : 1932–33, 1933–34, 1950, but without notable performances. 1975–76 Divizia B
The 1975–76 Divizia B was the 36th season of the second tier of the Romanian football league system. The format has been maintained to three series, each of them having 18 teams. At the end of the season the winners of the series promoted to Divizia A and the last four places from each series relegated to Divizia C. Nicolae Lupescu
Nicolae Lupescu (17 December 1940 – 6 September 2017) was a Romanian football defender and manager. Club career Early career Nicolae Lupescu was born on 17 December 1940 in Bucharest, Romania. He started to play football at junior level in 1954 at ICAR București, afterwards playing for Flacăra Roșie București, starting his senior career by playing two seasons in Divizia B, the first one at Academia Militară București and the second at Olimpia București. Rapid București Lupescu was eventually brought to Rapid București by coach Nicolae Roșculeț where he debuted in Divizia A on 16 September 1962 in a 4–2 victory against Farul Constanța. He remained with Rapid for ten seasons, winning the title in the 1966–67 season, being used by coach Valentin Stănescu in 26 matches in which he scored one goal. Ștefan Coidum
Ștefan Coidum (28 December 1930 – 27 February 2015) was a Romanian professional footballer and manager. Even if he did not have a lengthy playing career, playing only 10 seasons total, and just over 60 Divizia A matches, Coidum impressed much more as a football manager. In his 35-year career, during which he trained 18 different teams, Ștefan Coidum earned a reputation as an expert of promotions, achieving no fewer than 6 promotions to the first league with: CS Târgoviște, Brașov, ASA Târgu Mureș (2), Bihor Oradea and Maramureș Baia Mare. He also led Universitatea Craiova and Argeș Pitești in the European Cups. Constantin Teașcă
Constantin Teașcă also known as Titi Teașcă (25 September 1922 – 30 July 1996) was a Romanian football player and manager. Nicknamed "Little Napoleon", Teașcă was known for his controversial training methods for which he would get in conflicts with the players. He was the manager of Romania on two occasions, first in 1962 and then in 1967. He had one experience outside Romania when he managed Turkish side Fenerbahçe from 1970 to 1971. Teașcă has a total of 323 matches as a manager in the Romanian top-division, Divizia A consisting of 120 victories, 64 draws and 139 losses. Playing career Constantin Teașcă was born on 25 September 1922 in Giurgiu, Romania, starting to play junior level football in 1932 at local club, Acvila. In 1940 he started to play for Acvila's senior team, being a midfielder, then in 1946 he went to play for Concordia Ploiești. Liga IV Sibiu is the county association football, football division of Liga IV for clubs based in Sibiu County, România. The competition is ranked as the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system and it is competed between 17 teams, the winner may or may not be promoted to Liga III, depending on the result of a promotion play-off that is disputed against a winner of the neighboring counties series.
