''Život uživo'' () is the debut studio album by Bosnian-Serbian pop star Maya Berović. It was released August 2007 through the record label Grand Production in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia. Background Aged 19 in 2006, Maya signed with the Belgrade-based record label Grand Production Grand Production ( sr-Cyrl-Latn, Гранд продукција, separator=" / ", Grand produkcija) is a Serbian record label and production company predominantly focused on folk performers. The label produces the weekly television show ''Grand ..., co-owned by Lepa Brena and Saša Popović, and teamed up with ''Grand's'' main songwriter Marina Tucaković and composer and musician Aleksandar Milić as the producer. Maja "Maya" Berović (; born 8 July 1987) is a Bosnian singer. Born in Ilijaš, she made her recording debut in 2007 with the album ''Život uživo''. It was followed by four other moderately successful releases: ''Crno zlato'' (2008), ''Maya (Maya Berović album), Maya'' (2011), ''Djevojka sa juga'' (2012) and ''Opasne vode'' (2014). Following the initial ten years of her career, Berović rose to substantial regional popularity by collaborating with rappers Jala Brat and Buba Corelli on her albums ''Viktorijina tajna (album), Viktorijina tajna'' (2017) and ''7 (Maya Berović album), 7'' (2018). Her song "Pravo vreme" is one of the most-viewed music videos by an Ex-Yu artist. Turbo-folk
Turbo-folk is a subgenre of contemporary South Slavs, South Slavic pop music that initially developed in Serbia during the 1990s as a fusion of techno and folk music, folk. The term was an invention of the Montenegro, Montenegrin singer Rambo Amadeus, who jokingly described the aggressive, satirical style of music as "turbo folk". While primarily associated with Serbia, this style is also popular in other former Yugoslav republics. Marina Tucaković ( sr-Cyrl, Марина Туцаковић; 4 November 1953 – 19 September 2021) was a Serbian lyricist and songwriter. Born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia, Tucaković had a degree from the Economic Faculty at the University of Belgrade. She first started writing songs at the age of 19. After the success of "Dodirni mi kolena" ("Touch my knees") by the Yugoslav rock group Zana and vocalist Zana Nimani, Tucaković continued working with numerous artists in then Yugoslavia.
