Živko Čingo
Živko Čingo (also spelt Zhivko Chingo) (13 August 1935 – 11 August 1987) was a Macedonian writer, born in Velgosti, near Ohrid, Kingdom of Yugoslavia. Biography He studied literature at the University of Sts Cyril and Methodius in Skopje. He worked as a journalist and as Director of the Macedonian National Theatre. Skopje
Skopje ( , ; ; , sq-definite, Shkupi) is the capital and largest city of North Macedonia. It lies in the northern part of the country, in the Skopje Basin, Skopje Valley along the Vardar River, and is the political, economic, and cultural center of the country. ''Variety'' is an American trade magazine owned by Penske Media Corporation. It was founded by Sime Silverman in New York City in 1905 as a weekly newspaper reporting on theater and vaudeville. In 1933, ''Daily Variety'' was launched, based in Los Angeles, to cover the film industry, motion-picture industry. The Great Water
''The Great Water'' () is a 2004 Macedonian film starring Saso Kekenovski, Maja Stankovska, Mitko Apostolovski, Meto Jovanovski and Verica Nedeska. It was directed and written by Ivo Trajkov. The music was created by Kiril Dzajkovski. Plot Based on a children's book written by Živko Čingo in the 1970s, the movie is about the difficult transition in Macedonia after World War II. The film begins in the present as old Lem (Meto Jovanovski), Macedonian politician who is experiencing a heart attack and while he is being wheeled into a hospital and examined and wired, he has memory flashbacks to his childhood in 1945.
