Želimir Altarac Čičak
Želimir "Čičak" Altarac (21 August 1947 – 26 March 2021) was a Bosnian singer-songwriter from Sarajevo. Early life Widely known as Čičak (burdock) for his curly hair, Altarac attended the from 1961 until 1965. During this period he grew increasingly infatuated with Western rock music coming from the United States and the United Kingdom, which had gained a devoted audience among the youth of communist state, communist Yugoslavia. Teenage Čičak often skipped Gymnasium (school)#Former Yugoslav countries, gym classes in pursuit of activities he was more interested in – organizing local rock gigs, writing and reciting poetry, moderating music events, and editing the gymnasium newsletter ''Polet''. Divlje Jagode () is a hard rock and heavy metal band, originally formed in 1977 in Sarajevo, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, SFR Yugoslavia, and since their 1994 reunion based in Croatia. Led by guitarist Sead "Zele" Lipovača, Divlje Jagode are considered one of the most popular and most influential acts of the Yugoslav hard rock and heavy metal scenes. The band was formed in 1977 by Sead Lipovača (guitar), Anto "Toni" Janković (vocals), Nihad Jusufhodžić (bass guitar), Adonis Dokuzović (drums) and Mustafa "Muc" Ismailovski (keyboards). Vatreni Poljubac
Vatreni Poljubac (trans. ''Fiery Kiss'') is a hard rock and heavy metal band, originally formed in 1977 in Sarajevo, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, SFR Yugoslavia, and since 1998 based in Belgrade, Serbia. Formed and led by vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Milić Vukašinović, Vatreni Poljubac was one the most notable acts of the Yugoslav hard rock and heavy metal scene. Formed in October 1977, after the end of Vukašinović's one-year stint as the drummer for Bijelo Dugme, the original lineup of Vatreni Poljubac consisted of Vukašinović, bass guitarist Shefqet Hoxha and drummer Perica Stojanović. Mladen Vojičić Tifa
Mladen Vojičić (; born 17 October 1960), better known by his nickname Tifa (), is a Bosnian rock vocalist. He gained acclaim throughout former Yugoslavia for his brief stint as the lead singer of Bijelo Dugme in the mid-1980s. Apart from Bijelo dugme, Tifa sang in numerous bands with varying degrees of prominence (most notable being Teška Industrija, Vatreni Poljubac and Divlje Jagode). Undisputedly a singer with great vocal capabilities and a distinct vocal range, his impulsive personality and irrational character have often garnered controversy region-wide. Nowadays, Tifa maintains a relatively successful solo career. He lives in his hometown of Sarajevo. Bombaj Štampa
Bombaj Štampa () is a Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bosnian pop-rock group from Sarajevo dating formed in 1982. It, together with Zabranjeno Pušenje and Elvis J. Kurtović & His Meteors, participated in creating a new movement known as New Primitives, New Primitivism in Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Ex-Yugoslavia. The group was founded by guitarist Nedim Babović in 1982, but initially never had a stable lineup and therefore didn't perform much. In May 1983, aspiring actor Branko Đurić who sang with SCH (band), SCH joined the band. One of their early hits was the football chant "Željo to je moj tim" ("FK Željezničar Sarajevo, Zeljo, that's my team"). Bombaj Štampa was not active from 1992 till 2008.
