Žarko Korać (footballer)
Žarko Korać (Cyrillic: Жapкo Kopaћ, born 11 June 1987) is a Montenegrin football player who plays as a forward for FK Jedinstvo. Club career Žarko has played mainly with Montenegrin club FK Zeta, having achieved the title of Montenegrin First League top scorer in the season 2006–07. After this early success, he decided to move abroad signing a contract with Serbian SuperLiga club FK Vojvodina. After not getting many chances there, he returned to FK Zeta in December 2008. He played there until January 2010 when he moved to Moldovan club FC Sheriff Tiraspol. In summer 2010 he returned to Zeta where he became a regular at the starting 11. He finished the 2012–13 Montenegrin First League season as the co-top scorer with 15 goals. following this success he has been loaned to Hapoel Haifa of the Israeli Premier League, where he scored 11 goals, finishing as the 5th top scorer in the league. on June 2, 2014, Korać has signed a 4-years contract with Israeli club Beitar Je ... Golubovci
Golubovci (, ) is a small town in the new Zeta Municipality of Montenegro. Until 2022, it was part of Podgorica Municipality. Golubovci is the seat of the new municipality. The town has 3,110 residents according to 2011 census, while the surrounding Zeta Municipality accounts for some 16,093 residents. Transport Podgorica Airport is occasionally referred to as Golubovci Airport by locals, due to its proximity to the town. Golubovci is located next to the M-2, Podgorica - Bar road ( E65/ E80), main Montenegrin road connection between the coast and northern part of the country. Part of this road went through the centre of Golubovci causing frequent traffic jams during the summer tourist season which led to construction of 4-lane dual carriageway, the Golubovci Bypass, in 2018. Montenegrins (ethnic Group)
Montenegrins (, or ) are a South Slavic ethnic group that share a common ancestry, culture, history, and language, identified with the country of Montenegro. Montenegrins are mostly Orthodox Christians; however, the population also includes Catholics, Muslims and irreligious people. The Montenegrin language is the official language of Montenegro. Historically, the Montenegrin nation comprised many tribes. FSCG
The Football Association of Montenegro ( Montenegrin: ''Fudbalski savez Crne Gore'', ''FSCG'' / Фудбалски савез Црне Горе, ФСЦГ) is the governing body of football in Montenegro. It is based in the capital, Podgorica. The FSCG organises the Montenegrin First, Second and Third Leagues, which between them contain 45 clubs. It also organises the Montenegrin Women's League and the men's and women's Montenegrin Cups, as well as the Montenegro national football team and the Montenegro national under-21 football team. The FSCG was established in 1931 as a sub-association within the Football Association of Yugoslavia. The 2023–24 Montenegrin First League (also known as 1.CFL) was the 18th season of the first tier association football in the country of Montenegro. The season began on 23 July 2023 and ended on 25 May 2024. The winners ( Dečić) qualified for the 2024–25 UEFA Champions League first qualifying round. The runners-up ( Mornar) and 2023–24 Montenegrin Cup winners ( Budućnost) qualified for the 2024–25 UEFA Conference League first qualifying round. 2006–07 Montenegrin First League
The 2006–07 Montenegrin First League season was the inaugural season of the league as Montenegro's top-tier football competition. Although the league existed before, it was previously a second-tier league, underneath the Serbo-Montenegrin First League. Upon the independence of Montenegro, and the establishment of a Montenegrin Football Association, the league became disassociated with the Serbo-Montenegrin league and thus was given its present position. The league played its first games of the season on 12 August 2006 and its final matches were played on 26 May 2007. The Israeli Premier League (, Ligat HaAl, ) is a professional association football league in Israel and the highest level of the Israeli football league system. The league is contested by 14 clubs, and operates on a system of promotion and relegation with its second division Liga Leumit.
