Žarko Knežević
Žarko Knežević ( sr-cyr, Жарко Кнежевић; 17 July 1947 – 30 October 2020) was a Montenegrin basketball player who played at the Center (basketball), center position. Knežević was a member of the Yugoslavia national basketball team, Yugoslav national team from 1971 to 1974. He played for Fenerbahçe Ülker, Fenerbahçe at the 1978–79 season. The center (C), or the centre, also known as the five, the big or the pivot, is one of the five Basketball position, positions in a regulation basketball game. The center is almost always the tallest player on the team, and often has a great deal of strength and body mass as well. In the National Basketball Association, NBA, the center is typically close to tall; centers in the Women's National Basketball Association, WNBA are typically above .
