Žan Vipotnik (born 18 March 2002) is a Slovenian professional footballer who plays as a forward for club Swansea City and the Slovenia national team. Club career On 1 August 2024, Vipotnik joined Championship side Swansea City on a four-year deal following the mutual termination of his contract with Bordeaux. On 17 August 2024, Vipotnik scored his first goal for the club in a 3-0 victory over Preston. On 30 March 2025, Vipotnik scored a 96th minute equaliser away to eventual champions Leeds United. The striker ended the season with 7 goals. Matjaž Kek (born 9 September 1961) is a Slovenian professional Association football, football Manager (association football), manager and former Football player, player who is the manager of the Slovenia national football team, Slovenia national team. In his managerial career, he has won the Slovenian PrvaLiga, Slovenian league twice with NK Maribor, Maribor. As coach of the Slovenia national team, he led the team to two major tournaments, qualifying for the 2010 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2024. The 2021–22 Slovenian PrvaLiga was the 31st edition of the Slovenian PrvaLiga since its establishment in 1991. The season began on 16 July 2021 and ended on 21 May 2022. The Slovenian PrvaLiga (, ), currently named Prva liga Telemach due to sponsorship reasons, also known by the abbreviation 1. SNL, is the top level of the Slovenian football league system. Contested by ten clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Slovenian Second League (2. SNL). Seasons typically run from July to May with each team playing 36 matches. The Slovenian Football Cup (, ) is the top knockout tournament of Slovenian football and the second most important football competition in Slovenia after the Slovenian PrvaLiga championship. Benjamin Šeško (, born 31 May 2003) is a Slovenian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Bundesliga club RB Leipzig and the Slovenia national team. Šeško joined Red Bull Salzburg aged 16 in 2019 from Domžale. He was loaned to the Salzburg's reserve team FC Liefering for two seasons, where he scored 22 goals in 44 games in the second tier of Austrian football.
