KK Plamen Požega, commonly referred to as Plamen Požega, is a Croatian women's basketball club based in the city of Požega in the western Slavonia region. Established in 1959, the club hosts its games at the Tomislav Pirc Sports Hall, which has a capacity of 1,200. As of 2024, the club plays in the Women's Premier League, the top level of women's basketball in Croatia. The Hrvatska Premijer ženska košarkaška liga (), also known as Premijer ženska liga or simply Premijer liga, is the first tier level league for women's basketball clubs in Croatia. Founded in 1991 following the independence of the country, it is contested by ten teams. Currently the champion is granted a spot in the EuroLeague Women. Požega () is a city in western Slavonia, eastern Croatia, with a total population of 22,364 (census 2021). It is the administrative center of the Požega-Slavonia County. Name Between 1921 and 1991, the town was known as ''Slavonska Požega''. In German language, German, the town is known as ''Poschegg'', in Hungarian language, Hungarian as ''Pozsega'', in Turkish language, Turkish as ''Pojega'', and in Latin language, Latin as ''Incerum'' (-i, n.) and ''Possega''.
