ŽFK Mašinac PZP Niš
ŽFK Mašinac PZP (Serbian Cyrillic alphabet, Serbian Cyrillic: ЖФК Maшинaц ПЗП) is a Women's association football, women's football club based in Niš, Serbia. The club was the most successful women's football club of SFR Yugoslavia, FR Yugoslavia and Serbia. They play at Mašinac Stadium, in Delijski Vis neighbourhood in Niš. History Mašinac was founded 1970. In 1987, the club moved to a new stadium in Delijski Vis, Niš. In 1990, they made sponsorship an agreement with Philip Morris Operations, Niš Tobacco Factory. The team manager Perica Krstić, has been the first coach of the Yugoslav women's national team since 1974, and has been the coach of the Yugoslav women's national team for over 20 years. Titles Mašinac is the most successful women's football club of FR Yugoslavia and Serbia, winning 19 Yugoslav titles and 10 Yugoslav Cups. Catiana S. "Cat" Vitanza (born October 2, 1990 in Los Angeles, California) is an American professional soccer player. She currently is a soccer coach. She also holds Italian citizenship. Early life Catiana started her career playing in AYSO, AYSO Allstars, and Coast Soccer Premier League. Jovana Sretenović (Serbian Cyrillic: Јована Сретеновић; born 4 February 1986) is a Serbian football player who played as a forward for Sloga Zemun, Mašinac Niš in the Serbian First League, SFK 2000, Olympia Sofia, Elpides Karditsas, and now plays for Greek side AEL. Serbian Super Liga (women)
The Serbian Women's Super League ( / Super Liga Žene) is the top level women's football league of Serbia. It was founded in 2006. The team with the most championships to date is ŽFK Spartak Subotica with 13 titles. The current champions are ŽFK Crvena zvezda, winning their first title in 2023/24 season. Until 2013/14 the top-level league was called Prva Ženska Liga (First League). For that season the Super Liga was created on top of the league system. The second-level league is now the prva liga. History The Niš Tobacco Factory was established in 1930 as a part of the state tobacco monopoly at its present location in Crveni Krst, Niš, Crveni Krst neighborhood of Niš. It was one of the largest cigarette manufacturers in Yugoslavia. It offered a variety of services, including the production of processed tobacco, tobacco cut filler, filters and other.
