Štefan Škaper
Štefan Škaper (born 6 October 1966) is a Slovenian retired footballer who played as a forward. Career Škaper played for Beltinci between 1990 and 1996 and for Mura between 1996 and 2000. He was the Slovenian PrvaLiga top goalscorer for two consecutive seasons in 1993–94 and 1994–95, scoring 23 and 25 goals, respectively. He is also the second all-time top goalscorer in the Slovenian PrvaLiga with 130 goals, and holds the record for the most hat-trick A hat-trick or hat trick is the achievement of a generally positive feat three times in a match, or another achievement based on the number three. Beltinci
Beltinci (; Prekmurje Slovene: ''Böltinci'', or ''Belatincz'', ) is a town in the Prekmurje region of northeastern Slovenia. It is the seat of the Municipality of Beltinci. Črnec Creek, a tributary of the Ledava, flows through the settlement. Name Beltinci was attested as ''Belethfalua'' in 1322, ''Belethafalua'' in 1381, and ''Balatincz'' in 1402. The name is originally a plural demonym derived from the Slavic personal name ''*Běletinъ''—from the nickname ''*Bělъ(jъ)'' 'white', applied to people with fair skin or hair—thus meaning 'residents of Běletinъ's village'. A hat-trick or hat trick is the achievement of a generally positive feat three times in a match, or another achievement based on the number three. Origin The term first appeared in 1858 in cricket, to describe H. H. Stephenson taking three Wicket#Dismissing a batsman, wickets with three consecutive delivery (cricket), deliveries. The Prekmurje Slovenes () are Slovenes from Prekmurje in Slovenia and Vendvidék and Somogy in Hungary. The Prekmurje Slovenes speak the Prekmurje Slovene dialect and have a common culture. The Hungarian Slovenes ''(Porabski Slovenci)'' and Somogy Slovenes also speak the Prekmurje Slovene dialect. Origins The Prekmurje Slovenes are descendants of the Slovenes of Lower Pannonia (Slovene ''Spodnja Panonija'', Prekmurje dialect ''Spoudnja Panonija'', ), who were vassals of the Frankish Empire in the 9th century.
