''Šeki snima, pazi se'' ( English: ''Šeki is Filming, Watch Out!'') is a Yugoslav comedy film directed by Marijan Vajda. It was released in 1962. Considering football sensation Dragoslav Šekularac (nicknamed Šeki, hence the film's title) was probably the first sports superstar in Yugoslavia whose fame transcended sporting bounds, the popularity he enjoyed during his playing heyday was the main reason that ''Šeki snima, pazi se'' came about. The film was football-related and was built around his public persona. Jadran Film is a film production studio and distribution company founded in 1946 in Zagreb, Croatia. In the period between the early 1960s and late 1980s Jadran Film was one of the biggest and most notable film studios in Central Europe, with some 145 international and around 120 Yugoslav productions filmed at the studio during those three decades, including two Oscar-winning films and Orson Welles' 1962 screen adaptation of Franz Kafka's novel ''The Trial''. The word ''Jadran'' refers to the Adriatic Sea in Croatian. Dragoslav Šekularac
Dragoslav Šekularac ( sr-Cyrl, Драгослав Шекуларац, ; 8 November 1937 – 5 January 2019) was a Yugoslav and Serbian professional footballer and coach. Nicknamed Šeki, he was quick and crafty with the ball, displaying creative skills which turned many heads. Possessing supreme self-confidence along with impeccable technical ability, he was one of the biggest showmen and crowd draws in the history of Yugoslav football. His enormous popularity throughout FPR Yugoslavia during the early 1960s transcended sports as he easily became one of the most recognizable individuals in the country. As a coach, he led several clubs in Canada, Colombia, Australia, Serbia, Mexico, and Spain, as well as the Guatemala national team in the 1986 FIFA World Cup qualification. Zorana "Lola" Novaković ( sr-cyr, Зоранa "Лола" Новаковић); (25 April 1935 – 3 April 2016) was a Serbian singer, hugely popular during the 1960s and to a lesser degree the 1970s.
