Šarūnas Vasiliauskas (born 27 March 1989) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player. He played as a point guard. Professional career On 8 August 2016, Vasiliauskas signed with Joventut Badalona. On 14 December 2016, he parted ways with Joventut after averaging 5.3 points in Liga ACB. The next day, he signed with Turkish club Uşak Sportif for the rest of the season. On 19 July 2017, he signed with Turkish club Trabzonspor of the Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL). Clubul Sportiv Orășenesc Voluntari 2005, commonly known as CSO Voluntari or simply Voluntari, is a Romanian multi-sport club based in Voluntari who was founded at the initiative of the office of the Mayor of Voluntari. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the Basketball positions, five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position and is usually the shortest player on the court. Point guards are expected to control the pace of the game. They effectively "run" the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship
The FIBA U20 EuroBasket is the new name for the FIBA U20 European Championship, originally known as the European Championship for Men '22 and Under'. It is a men's youth basketball competition that was inaugurated with the 1992 edition. Through the 2004 edition, it was held biennially, but since the 2005 edition, it is held every year. The tournament was originally an Under-22 age tournament, but it is now an Under-20 age tournament. The current champions are France.
