Šarūnas Bartas
Šarūnas Bartas (born 16 August 1964) is a Lithuanian film director. He is one of the most prominent Lithuanian film directors internationally from the late 20th century. His 2015 film '' Peace to Us in Our Dreams'' was screened in the Directors' Fortnight section at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival. His film ''In the Dusk'' was part of the official selection of the 2020 Cannes Film Festival. Odesa International Film Festival
The Odesa International Film Festival () is an annual film festival held in the middle of July in Odesa. Since 2016 the festival program has consisted of three parts: the International competition, National competition and European Documentary competition. The National competition is divided into Features and Shorts. History The first Odesa International Film Festival was held from 16 to 24 July 2010. As part of the Festival, a competitive program of 16 feature films was shown. In total, more than 100 films were presented at the competitive and non-competitive screenings at the festival. Eastern Drift
''Eastern Drift'' is a 2010 Lithuanian crime film directed by Šarūnas Bartas, starring Bartas and Klavdiya Korshunova. Its Lithuanian title is ''Eurazijos aborigenas'' and its French title is ''Indigène d'Eurasie'', which means "Eurasian native". It tells the story of a drug smuggler who wants to quit, but is betrayed and tries to flee, together with his prostitute ex-girlfriend, from Moscow to France through Belarus and Lithuania. The film premiered in the Forum section of the 60th Berlin International Film Festival. The Prize of the Ecumenical Jury () is an independent film award for feature-length films shown at major international film festivals since 1973. The award was created by Christian film makers, film critics and other film professionals. The International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) is the world's largest documentary film festival held annually since 1988 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
