''Şefkat Tepe'' was a Turkish action, military, drama and crime series. The series was set in 1997. It aired from 2010 to 2014, then continued for a short time as “Sungurlar” which was investigated for links with Fethullah Gülen and ended in 2014. Samanyolu TV was an international Turkish language TV station with its headquarters in Istanbul. The channel is known for its closeness to Fethullah Gülen, the leader of the Gülen movement. Samanyolu TV was previously owned by Yayıncılık A.Ş. Yayıncılık A.Ş. is a media company that operates radio and television broadcasting, publication and distribution of newspapers. Muhammed Fethullah Gülen (27 April 1941 – 20 October 2024) was a Turkish Ulama, Muslim scholar, preacher, and leader of the Gülen movement who as of 2016 had millions of followers. Aslıhan Güner (born 17 December 1984) is a Turkish actress. Her mother is from Malatya, while her father is from Sivas. Her maternal grandparents are of Bosnian descent. Her paternal grandparents are of Turkish descent and immigrated from Bulgaria. She studied public relations and advertising at the university but left without completing her education.
