Åžahin
Şahin (; ) is a Turkish and Tatar name of Persian language, Persian origin that means "hawk" or "falcon" in Persian. This surname has been attributed to individuals and families of different ethnicities, religions and minorities, in the territories of the Republic of Turkey after the fall of the multiethnic Ottoman Empire, following the enactment of the 1934 Surname Law. Variations include the name Shahin, which may be after the 14th century Jewish poet, and Chahine, amongst Christians in Lebanon. Nuri Åžahin
Nuri Şahin (born 5 September 1988) is a German and Turkish professional football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. He was most recently head coach of Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund. He began his playing career at Dortmund, spending six years there – including a year-long loan at Feyenoord – and winning the Bundesliga in 2011 before signing for Real Madrid in 2011 for €10 million. In August 2012, Şahin agreed to a one-year loan deal with Liverpool, which was terminated in January 2013 to allow him to return to Dortmund on an 18-month loan. Reyhan Şahin (born 1980), known professionally as Lady Bitch Ray or Doctor Bitch Ray, is a Turkish-German rapper, author, linguist and former radio host. Biography Şahin was born in Bremen, West Germany. Her parents are Alevis and come from Sivas, Turkey. Enver Cenk Şahin (born 22 September 1994) is a Turkish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for 24 Erzincanspor. Fatma Şahin (born 20 June 1966) is a Turkish chemical engineer and politician. On 6 July 2011 she was appointed as the Minister of Family and Social Policies in the third cabinet of Erdoğan. İbrahim Şahin
İbrahim Şahin (born 20 August 1956) is a Turkish ultranationalist and co-conspirator in the murder of the Armenian journalist Hrant Dink. He led General Directorate of Security's special forces unit, the Special Operations Department () and, following dismissal in 1996 for associating with ultra-nationalist drug trafficker and contract killer Abdullah Çatlı, was tarnished by complicity in the wide-ranging government conspiracy which became known as the Susurluk scandal. Celal Şahin (22 May 1925 – 23 February 2018) was a Turkish musician playing the accordion, humorist, television talk show host and actor. Celal Şahin was born in Istanbul, Turkey on 22 May 1925. He graduated from Kabataş High School, and then studied Archaeology at the Faculty of Letters of Istanbul University. He played briefly in the Beşiktaş Basketball team. Ercan Åžahin (born 1971 in Turkey) is a Turkish folk musician. Early life and education Åžahin's parents came from Sivas, a city in Anatolia which is known for his numerous poets and folk singers.
