Şahika Ercümen
Şahika Ercümen (born 16 January 1985) is a Turkish dietitian and world record holder free-diver. Born on January 16, 1985, in Çanakkale, she was educated at the Gazi Primary School, and received a secondary education at the Milli Piyango Anatolian High School in her hometown. For her higher education, she moved to Ankara, and became a dietitian graduating from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at Başkent University's Faculty of Health Sciences. Her participation in underwater sports began with scuba diving and underwater rugby. For twelve years, she is interested in various branches of underwater sports, and is a member of four national teams since 2001. She participated with the underwater hockey, underwater rugby, underwater orienteering and free diving national teams in the World and European Championships. Constant weight (CWT) is a freediving discipline recognised by AIDA, the International Association for the Development of Apnea, in which the freediver descends and ascends using their monofin and/or with the use of their arms without pulling on the rope or changing their ballast; only a single hold of the rope to stop the descent and start the ascent is allowed. Lake Salda
Lake Salda is a mid-size crater lake in southwestern Turkey, within the boundaries of YeÅŸilova district of Burdur Province. It lies at a distance of about fifty kilometers to the west from the province seat Burdur. Lake Salda is often included in the Turkish Lakes Region that extends across inner western to southern Anatolia, especially Isparta Province and Afyonkarahisar Province, although Lake Salda is geographically separate from the larger lakes, which are more to the east and, being a crater lake, is morphologically different from these tectonic lakes. Derya Can Göçen (born Derya Can on October 12, 1979) is a Turkish world record holder female free-diver and school teacher. Family life Derya Can was born in Çanakkale, Turkey on October 12, 1979. She studied physical education and sports at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University graduating in 2001. She has been working as a teacher since 2009. She is married to Tayfun Göçen, who is chief diver of a search and rescue team at the Turkish Coast Guard, and also a free-diver. She is a mother of two children, a 2011-born son Poyraz Mustafa and a daughter Derin Helen born in 2015. The family lives in Canakkale. Saline water (more commonly known as salt water) is water that contains a high concentration of dissolved salts (mainly sodium chloride). On the United States Geological Survey (USGS) salinity scale, saline water is saltier than brackish water, but less salty than brine. Tanya Streeter (born Tanya Dailey, 10 January 1973, Grand Cayman) is a British-Caymanian-American world champion freediver, inducted into the Women Divers Hall of Fame in March 2000. For more than two months, from 17 August 2002, she held the overall "No Limit" freediving record (greater than the men's record) with a depth of 525 feet (160 m), which is still the women's world record for ''NLT (No Limit) Apnea''. Personal life Streeter was born to Jim and Sandra Dailey in the Cayman Islands. She has two sisters and a brother.
