Łukasz Zwoliński
Łukasz Piotr Zwoliński (born 24 February 1993) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a forward for I liga club Wisła Kraków. Club career In February 2020, he joined Lechia Gdańsk on a three-and-a-half-year contract. Following Lechia's relegation to I liga, on 22 May 2023, he signed a four-year deal with an extension option with defending Ekstraklasa champions Raków Częstochowa, effective from 1 July 2023. On 15 July 2024, Zwoliński moved to I liga outfit Wisła Kraków on a two-year contract. Pogoń Szczecin Spółka Akcyjna, commonly referred to as Pogoń Szczecin (), is a Polish professional football club based in Szczecin, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, which plays in the Ekstraklasa, the top tier of the national football league system. History The club was founded by Poles from Lwów (now Lviv, Ukraine), who had been transferred west after the Soviet annexation of Poland's eastern territories in 1945. The Polish Cup in Association football, football ( ) is an annual Single-elimination tournament, knockout football competition for Polish football club (association football), football clubs, held continuously since 1950, and is the second most important national title in Polish football after the Ekstraklasa title. Due to mass participation of teams, the tournament is often called ''The Cup of the Thousand Teams'' ( ). Participation is open to any club registered with the PZPN, Polish FA, regardless of whether it competes in any league in the national pyramid or not. Reserve and veteran teams are also eligible, with reserve teams reaching the final on two occasions (and winning it once). The Cup is popular among lower-level teams, as it gives them a chance to play better known sides. 2019–20 Lechia Gdańsk Season
The 2019–20 Lechia Gdańsk season was the club's 76th season of existence, and their 12th continuous in the top flight of Polish football. The season covered the period from 1 July 2019 to 31 July 2020. Season information Due to the COVID-19 pandemic Polish authorities announced on 10 March 2020 that all Ekstraklasa, I liga, and Polish Cup fixtures would be played behind closed doors without fans in attendance. Lechia played Piast Gliwice in the Polish Cup behind closed doors, before an announcement was made on 14 March that all games would be postponed until the end of March. The postponement was further delayed on 20 March with no games being played until at least 26 April. Games were allowed to resume again from 29 May, 12 weeks after the season was postponed.
