The Order of Ľudovít Štúr () is the third highest Slovak state decoration (after the Order of the White Double Cross and the Orders, decorations, and medals of Slovakia#Andrej Hlinka Order, Order of Andrej Hlinka) conferred by the President of Slovakia, President of the Slovak Republic upon the proposal of the Government of Slovakia, government. The president, who is a recipient, 1st Class, of the order by virtue of holding office, is not obligated to respect the proposal. Ľudovít Štúr
Ľudovít Štúr (; 28 October 1815 – 12 January 1856), also known as Ľudovít Velislav Štúr, was a Slovak revolutionary, politician, and writer. Ľudovít Rajter
Ľudovít Rajter (; 30 July 1906 – 6 July 2000) was a Slovak composer and conductor from Austria-Hungary. Early life and education Rajter's evangelical family had roots among the German-Hungarian and Dutch communities. His father was a teacher, cantor, and choral conductor in the Lutheran church. Rajter's family migrated from southern Germany to Hungary during the reign of Maria Theresa (1740–1780). At the time, the family surname was spelled "Raiter" or "Rayter." Rajter's family spoke Hungarian, German, and Slovak. Rajter began his musical training with his father, Lajos Rajter Sr. (1880–1945). From 1915 to 1920, he studied with Alexander Albrecht at the Musical School for Slovakia (now a Conservatory) in Bratislava. Ľudovít Fulla
Ľudovít Fulla (27 February 1902, Ružomberok – 21 April 1980, Bratislava) was a Slovak painter, graphic artist, illustrator, stage designer and art teacher. He is considered one of the most important figures of Slovak creative art in the 20th century. Style Fulla's work was fundamentally important for the establishment of Slovak modernism. His personal style is characterized by a special "poetry of the image" relying on surface and decoration, a synthesis of rational and emotional elements, brilliant colour, knowledge of folk art, East Slavonic iconography and world Modernism. Ludwig Greiner (1796–1882) was a 19th-century forest and lumber industry management expert who improved the effectiveness of woodland valuation methods in the Austrian Empire and trained a whole new generation of foresters in a comprehensive approach to the management of natural resources. Ľudovít Lehen
Ľudovít Lehen (3 June 1925 – 12 May 2014) was a painter and a FIDE Master for chess compositions. Biography Lehen studied at the University of Arts, Bratislava between 1949 and 1955 under the professors D. Milly, V. Hložník. In 1956 Lehen won first place in the Czechoslovak national competition for realist productions and a year later won second place in a graphics art competition, . Near the conclusion of the 1950s his works toured Belgium, China and the Soviet Union. Ultimately, he was charged in a show trial typical of communist Czechoslovakia, and from 1962 he spent 6 years behind bars at Leopoldov Prison. During the reforms of the Prague Spring of 1968 he was found innocent and released, and after his release Lehen started painting and become very solitary. Ľudovít Rado
Ľudovít Rado (27 July 1914 – 23 May 1992) was a Slovak footballer who played as a defender and appeared for both the Czechoslovakia and Slovakia national teams. Career Rado made his international debut for Czechoslovakia on 25 March 1934 in a friendly match against France, which finished as a 2–1 win in Colombes. He earned his second and final cap on 24 April 1938 in a 1938 World Cup qualifying fixture against Bulgaria. He missed a penalty in the match, which finished as a 6–0 win in Prague.
