İzmit Belediyespor
İzmit Belediyespor is a Turkish women's basketball club based in İzmit, Turkey. The club was founded in 1995 and currently competing in the Women's Basketball Super League. History The club was invited to the Super League in 2018 after the Yakın Doğu Üniversitesi (women's basketball), Yakın Doğu Üniversitesi withdrew from the league. After playing in the 2020 Turkish Women's Basketball Cup, Turkish Cup final, the club competed in the EuroLeague Women, Euroleague in the 2020–21 EuroLeague Women, 2020–21 season. The Turkish Women's Basketball Cup ( Turkish: ''Basketbol Kadınlar Türkiye Kupası''), also known as Bitci Turkish Women's Basketball Cup for sponsporship reasons, is a basketball cup competition in Turkish basketball, run by the Turkish Basketball Federation since 1992. The current champions are Fenerbahçe, who are also the most successful team in the history of the competition, with 14 titles to their credit.
