Ä°sbike (styled as isbike) is a public bicycle sharing system serving Istanbul, the largest city in Turkey. Launched in 2012, it serves with 300 stations and 3000 bikes on both sides of the city. In 2022, isbike founded a bicycling school, aimed to provide bicycle training to approximately 10 thousand people. System components The system uses Baksi smart biking system. The users can either get membership or use their credit cards to access the bikes. Rates All trips are charged, whether or not the user is a member. Maintenance isbike was included in the 2022 budget due to votes by city residents. Due to maintenance bikes were not available in January 2022, but later that year there were complaints about empty and closed stations, for example in Zeytinburnu. İstanbul Otopark İşletmeleri Tic. AŞ (Istanbul Parking Lot Operations Trade S.A), or simply İSPARK, is a company that operates parking lots in Istanbul. Managed by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, the company provides service in 606 parking lots and also is a member of the :tr:European Parking Association, European Parking Association. In 2012, İspark carried out the bicycle parking project İsbike to Environmentalism, increase environmental consciousness in Istanbul. In 2014, the company built boat parks which in İstinye and Tarabya Bays, a year later the company announced that they were planning to build boat parks in Bebek, Beşiktaş, Bebek, Beykoz, Kuruçeşme and Paşabahçe, Beykoz, Paşabahçe, but these plans were abandoned. The company also owns the Alibeyköy Bus Terminal in Istanbul. A bicycle-sharing system, bike share program, public bicycle scheme, or public bike share (PBS) scheme, is a shared transport service where bicycles are available for shared use by individuals at low cost. The programmes themselves include both docking and dockless systems, where docking systems allow users to rent a bike from a dock, i.e., a technology-enabled bicycle rack and return at another node or dock within the system – and dockless systems, which offer a node-free system relying on smart technology.
