İrfan Özaydınlı
İrfan Özaydınlı (1924, Aydın, Turkey – August 1, 1999, Istanbul) was a Turkish soldier and politician. Biography Özaydınlı, who was born in 1924 in Aydın, completed his primary and secondary education in 1939 and then entered the Kuleli Military High School and started his military service. After finishing the Military Academy in 1943, he went to England for 2 years pilotage training. In various stages of the Turkish Air Force, volunteers, flight instructors and union commanders were in charge. Decree was prepared for the appointment of İrfan Özaydınlı. However, Süleyman Demirel's Özaydınlı's Command was withdrawn by removing the approval of Prime Minister Özgül. On April 24, Lieutenant General Cemal Engin was appointed Commander of the Air Force when he was not in his ranks. Korkut Özal
Korkut Özal (29 May 1929 – 2 November 2016) was a Turkish engineer and politician. He was the brother of Turkish President Turgut Özal and . His cause of death in 2016 was respiratory and circulatory failure. Academic career Korkut Özal studied at the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Istanbul Technical University. He then completed his postgraduate studies in the United States between 1956 and 1957. He became an academic at the Middle East Technical University after returning to Turkey. In 1965, he was awarded a professorship and became a lecturer at the State Academy of Architecture and Engineering. Early political career Özal entered politics through the National Salvation Party; he was elected as the party's deputy for Erzurum in the 1973 and 1977 elections. Hasan Fehmi Güneş
Hasan Fehmi Güneş (1934 – 23 November 2021) was a Turkish jurist and politician who served as the interior minister in 1979. He was a member of the Turkish parliament for two terms from the Republican People's Party. Between 1975 and 1980 he served in the Turkish Senate. Biography Güneş was born in Adapazarı in 1934. He graduated from Ankara University receiving a bachelor's degree in law. After working as a lawyer and public prosecutor, he entered politics and became senator in the period 1975–1980. On 13 January 1979 he was appointed interior minister to the cabinet led by Prime Minister Bülent Ecevit. His term witnessed significant events, including the assassination of journalist Abdi İpekçi, arrest of the assassin, Mehmet Ali Ağca, and attack by the members of the Palestine Liberation Organization against the Egyptian Embassy in Ankara.
