İfayet Şafak Çalıkuşu
İfayet Şafak Çalıkuşu (born August 4, 2002) is a Turkish curler from Erzurum, Turkey. She currently plays second on the Turkey women's national curling team skipped by Dilşat Yıldız. Career In 2019, Çalıkuşu appeared in her first international event, skipping the Turkish team at the 2019 European Youth Olympic Winter Festival. Throwing third rocks on the team with fourth Beytullah Özkan, second Kadir Polat and lead Nisanur Kaya, she led Turkey to a 1–5 round robin record. Their sole win came in their final game where they defeated Austria 8–2. The same year, Çalıkuşu served as the alternate on the Turkey junior rink led by Mihriban Polat at the 2019 World Junior-B Curling Championships. There, the team just missed the playoffs with a 2–3 record. Çalıkuşu played lead on the Turkish team that represented the nation at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics in Champéry, Switzerland. Curling at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics took place at the Palladium de Champéry in Champéry, Switzerland from 10 to 22 January 2020. Evelīna Barone
Evelīna Barone (born 16 November 2003 in Riga) is a Latvian curler from Riga. Career At the national level, she is a two-time Latvian women's champion (2016, 2019) and seven-time junior champion (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2024). 2023 European Curling Championships
The 2023 Le Gruyère AOP European Curling Championships took place in May and November 2023, to qualify European curling teams for the 2024 World Curling Championships. The 2023 World Women's Curling Championship (branded as 2023 LGT World Women's Curling Championship for sponsorship reasons) was held from March 18 to 26 at the Göransson Arena in Sandviken, Sweden. Anna Ellinor Hasselborg (born 5 May 1989) is a Swedish curler who is the 2018 Olympic Champion in women's curling and a former World Junior Champion skip. 2022 World Women's Curling Championship
The 2022 World Women's Curling Championship (branded as the 2022 BKT Tires & OK Tire World Women's Curling Championship for sponsorship reasons) was held from March 19 to 27 at the CN Centre in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada. Prince George was originally chosen to host the 2020 World Women's Curling Championship, but the event was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Ayşe Gözütok
Ayşe Gözütok is a Turkish curler from Erzurum, Turkey. She is the former lead of the Turkey women's national curling team. Career In juniors, Gözütok was the alternate on the Turkey junior team that competed at the 2011 Winter Universiade. The team finished with a winless 0–9 record. Gözütok competed in her first European Curling Championships in 2012 as lead for the Elif Kızılkaya rink. The team finished 4–5 in the B Division, one game short of advancing to the playoff round. After losing in a tiebreaker in both 2014 and 2015, the Turkish women's team qualified for the playoffs in the B Division at the 2016 European Curling Championships, finishing second in the round robin with a 7–2 record.
