İbrahim Çolak (gymnast)
İbrahim Çolak (born 7 January 1995) is a Turkish artistic gymnast who is primarily a Rings (gymnastics), rings specialist. He is the 2019 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, 2019 World champion on the rings and the first Turkish gymnast to medal at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. He also became Turkey's first European champion in artistic gymnastics when he won gold on the rings at the 2020 European Men's Artistic Gymnastics Championships, 2020 European Championships. He is also the 2018 European Men's Artistic Gymnastics Championships, 2018 European silver medalist on the rings and the 2020 European silver medalist with the Turkish team. He is the Artistic gymnastics at the 2022 Mediterranean Games, 2022 Mediterranean Games champion on the rings and in the team event. The 2019 Summer Universiade (), officially known as the XXX Summer Universiade () and also known as Naples 2019, or Napoli 2019, was held in Naples, Italy, between 3 and 14 July 2019. The men's rings event at the 2020 Summer Olympics was held on 24 July and 2 August 2021 at the Ariake Gymnastics Centre. The rings, also known as still rings (in contrast to flying rings), is an artistic gymnastics apparatus and the event that uses it. The Islamic Solidarity Games () is a multinational, multi-sport event. Managed jointly by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and Islamic Solidarity Sports Association (ISSA), the Games involve elite athletes of the OIC competing in a variety of sports. The most recent edition was held in Konya, Turkey, in 2022. The next edition will take place in 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
