Ēriks Ševčenko
Ēriks Ševčenko (born April 28, 1991 in Daugavpils, Latvian SSR, Soviet Union) is a Latvians, Latvian professional ice hockey player. He currently plays for Metallurg Novokuznetsk of the Supreme Hockey League. Ševčenko previously played 31 games in the Kontinental Hockey League for Dinamo Riga. Ševčenko has also played for the Latvia men's national ice hockey team, Latvia national team. He has a younger brother, Aturs Ševčenko, who also plays hockey. Defenceman (ice Hockey)
Defence or defense (in American English) in ice hockey is a player position that is primarily responsible for preventing the opposing team from Goal (ice hockey), scoring. They are often referred to as defencemen, D, D-men or blueliners (the latter a reference to the blue line in ice hockey which represents the boundary of the offensive zone; defencemen generally position themselves along the line to keep the puck in the zone). They were once called cover-point. In regular play, two defencemen complement three Forward (ice hockey), forwards and a goaltender on the ice. Kontinental Hockey League
The Kontinental Hockey League (KHL; ) is an international professional ice hockey league founded in 2008. It comprises member clubs based in Russia (20), Belarus (1), Kazakhstan (1), and China (1) for a total of 23 clubs. It was considered in 2015 to be the strongest professional ice hockey league in Europe and Asia, and the second-strongest in the world behind North America's National Hockey League. Tsen Tou Jilin City Players
Chiungtze C. Tsen (; Chang-Du Gan: sɛn˦˨ tɕjuŋ˨˩˧ tsɹ̩˦˨ April 2, 1898 – October 1, 1940), given name Chiung (), was a Chinese mathematician born in Nanchang, Jiangxi. He is known for his work in algebra. He was one of Emmy Noether's students at the University of Göttingen, Germany. One of his research interests was quasi-algebraic closure. In that area he proved a fundamental result which is now called Tsen's theorem. Biography Tsen was born in a poor fisherman's family in Xinjian Country, Nanchang, Jiangxi Province. His father Tschu-Wun Tsen ( Zeng Zuwen) had two sons and several daughters, and Tsen was the eldest son. His uncle Lei Heng (), who was a ''jinshi'' and a member of the Hanlin Academy, persuaded Tsen's father to send Tsen to school. Due to poverty, Tsen had to take leaves from school intermittently to work. After leaving primary school, he worked in a coal mine while self-studying. Tønsberg Vikings Players
Tønsberg (), historically Tunsberg, is a city in Tønsberg Municipality in Vestfold county, Norway. It is located about south-southwest of the capital city of Oslo on the western coast of the Oslofjord near its mouth onto the Skagerrak. The city is the most populous metropolis in Vestfold county. Tønsberg also serves as the administrative centre for Vestfold county and the seat of the County Governor of Vestfold og Telemark.
