Miss Universe Vietnam 2015 was the 2nd edition of the Miss Universe Vietnam pageant. After a 7-year hiatus, Miss Universe Vietnam returned in 2015. The grand finale was held on October 3, 2015 at Crown Convention Center, Nha Trang, the exact venue for Miss Universe 2008. Huỳnh Minh Hưng, commonly known by his stage name Đàm Vĩnh Hưng (born 2 October 1971), often referred to by his nickname Mr. Dam, is a Vietnamese singer. Miss Universe 2008 was the 57th Miss Universe pageant, held at the Crown Convention Center in Nha Trang, Vietnam on July 14, 2008. This was the first time that the Miss Universe pageant was broadcast in 1080i High-definition. At the end of the event, Riyo Mori of Japan crowned Dayana Mendoza of Venezuela as Miss Universe 2008. Miss World 2017 was the 67th edition of the Miss World pageant, held at the Sanya City Arena in Sanya, China, on 18 November 2017. Stephanie Del Valle of Puerto Rico crowned Manushi Chhillar of India as her successor at the end of the event. Miss World Vietnam (Vietnamese: Hoa hậu Thế giới Việt Nam) is a national beauty pageant in Vietnam that has been held biennially since 2019. Miss Earth 2016, the 16th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, with the theme "Empowered to make a Change", was held on October 29, 2016, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. 83 contestants from all over the world competed for the title.
