Đorđe Šušnjar
Đorđe Šušnjar (Serbian Cyrillic: Ђорђе Шушњар; born 18 February 1992) is a Serbian footballer who plays as a forward for Mladost Novi Sad. Club career Born in Ruma, he started his youth career in a local club called FK Ajaks from Novi Sad where he played between 2003 and 2005. In 2005, he joined the youth team of FK Vojvodina. Šušnjar made his debut for FK Vojvodina against FK Javor, on 5 December 2009, at the age of 17. He was loaned to FK Donji Srem for the 2010–11 season. After the Pećinci based club earned promotion to the Serbian First League, Šušnjar extended his loan for the 2011–12 season. Halfway through the season, he returned from Donji Srem, and was then loaned to Montenegrin club Sutjeska Nikšić, where he spent the rest of 2011–12 season, establishing himself as one of the key players in team's successful attempt to avoid relegation. Ruma
Ruma (; ) is a town and municipality in the Srem District of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Serbia. As of 2022, the town has a population of 27,747, while the municipality has a population of 48,621. History Traces of organized human life on the territory of Ruma municipality date back as far as prehistory. The most important archaeological locality in the municipality is Bronze Age Gomolava near Hrtkovci, with two exclusive tombs of Bosut culture dating to the 9th century BC and 3000BC Vučedol culture pottery. The Serbian Cyrillic alphabet (, ), also known as the Serbian script, (, ), is a standardized variation of the Cyrillic script used to write the Serbian language. It originated in medieval Serbia and was significantly reformed in the 19th century by the Serbian philologist and linguist Vuk Karadžić. The Serbian Cyrillic alphabet is one of the two official scripts used to write modern standard Serbian, the other being Gaj's Latin alphabet. Karadžić based his reform on the earlier 18th-century Slavonic-Serbian script. 2009 UEFA European Under-17 Football Championship Qualifying Round
2009 UEFA European Under-17 Football Championship (qualifying round) is the first round of qualifications for the Final Tournament of UEFA U-17 Championship 2009. The qualifying round was played between September 15 and October 28, 2008. The 52 teams were divided into 13 groups of four teams, with each group being contested as a mini-tournament, hosted by one of the group's teams. After all matches have been played, the 13 group winners and 13 group runners-up will advance to the Elite round. Serbian First League
The Serbian First League (), referred to as the Mozzart Bet First League for sponsorship reasons, is the second tier in professional Serbia's football league. The league was formed in 2005, following a reshuffle of the second tier Serbo-Montenegrin divisions. It is operated by the Football Association of Serbia. Format The league is usually formed by 16 clubs which play all against one another twice, once at home, once away. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the Football Association of Serbia completed a restructure of the league system, and in season 2020/2021 that meant 18 clubs would be competing in the Serbian First League, the number of clubs will go back to the usual 16 following the conclusion of the 2020-2021 season.
