Čemernica (Bosnia And Herzegovina)
Čemernica is a mountain in Central Bosnia, surrounded by the river Vrbas, and its confluences of Ugar and Vrbanja river. Čemernica's highest peak, Goli Vis, rises to an altitude of 1,338 meters. It is located south of Banja Luka, in the areas which connect the municipalities of Mrkonjić Grad, Skender Vakuf and Banja Luka. In its foothills are the cities of Kotor Varoš (in the northeast) and Skender Vakuf (in the east), as well as the settlement of Bočac (in the west). Under its northern slopes there is hydroelectric power plant reservoir of "Bočac". Along its southern slopes passes the regional road from Banja Luka to Travnik, as well as its branch from Skender Vakuf to Imljani and Korićani (via Ilomska). Čemernica is the source of many rivers, streams and creeks, and the largest waterways are Cvrcka and Jakotina. The sources of these rivers are on its southwestern slopes. Dinaric Alps
The Dinaric Alps (), also Dinarides, are a mountain range in Southern Europe, Southern and Southcentral Europe, separating the continental Balkan Peninsula from the Adriatic Sea. They stretch from Italy in the northwest through Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, and Kosovo to Albania in the southeast. The Dinaric Alps extend for approximately along the western Balkan Peninsula from the Julian Alps of the northeast Italy, downwards to the Šar Mountains, Šar and Korab (mountain), Korab massif, where their direction changes. The Accursed Mountains are the highest section of the entire Dinaric Alps; this section stretches from Albania to Kosovo and eastern Montenegro. Korićani
Korićani ( sr-cyrl, Корићани) is a village in central Bosnia and Herzegovina. Before the War in Bosnia, Korićani was the (administrative) united village. The Dayton Agreement is divided this settlement into two entities. Upper Korićani is today in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Lower Korićani in the Republic of Srpska. Geography Korićani is located on the slopes of the Vlašić mountain, in the corner of the plateau between Ugar and Ilomska. In fact, it is enclosed between two parts of Korićanske stijene: canyon Ilomska and Pougarje. The rocks are bent at almost a right angle, which closed Ugar and Ilomska. Bosnian Endemic Quarry Mammals
There are 59 mammal species in Bosnia and Herzegovina, of which one is endangered, eight are vulnerable, and two are near threatened. The following tags are used to highlight each species' conservation status as assessed by the International Union for Conservation of Nature: Some species were assessed using an earlier set of criteria.
