ČAFC Prague is a Czech Republic, Czech association football, football club located in Prague-Záběhlice. It currently plays in the Prague Championship, which is in the fifth tier of the Czech Republic football league system, Czech football system. It is one of the oldest football clubs in the country. ČAFC played in the highest division of football in Czechoslovakia in the 1920s, taking part in the inaugural national league, the 1925 Czechoslovak First League. Prague Championship
The Veolia Pražská Teplárenská Men Championship (Czech: Veolia Pražská Teplárenská Přebor Mužů) is a football competition for teams in the Prague metropolitan area of the Czech Republic. The competition is organized by the Prague Football Association (Czech: Pražský fotbalový svaz) and is one of the regional leagues that make up the Czech football league system. History The Prague Football Championship was founded in 1919, shortly after the formation of the Czechoslovak Republic. The competition initially consisted of teams from Prague and its surrounding areas, and was one of the top regional leagues in the country. The Czech Republic football league system is a series of interconnected leagues for club football in the Czech Republic. The system 2022–23 Below shows how the current system works. For each division, its English name, official name or sponsorship name (which often differs radically from its official name) and number of clubs is given. Each division promotes to the division(s) that lie directly above them and relegates to the division(s) that lie directly below them.
