Übermensch (album)
''Übermensch'' is the third studio album by South Korean rapper and singer-songwriter G-Dragon, released on February 25, 2025, by Galaxy Corporation and Empire Distribution. It is his first musical release in 7 years since ''Kwon Ji Yong'' in 2017 and his first studio album in 12 years since ''Coup d'Etat (G-Dragon album), Coup d'Etat'' (2013), as well as his first album since leaving YG Entertainment in 2023. Background and development On January 1, 2023, G-Dragon, then signed under YG Entertainment, officially announced via YouTube that he was working on a new album. Following his departure, the CEO of his new label, Galaxy Corporation, confirmed in a press release that G-Dragon would be making an official comeback in 2024. On the same day, G-Dragon confirmed the comeback in a handwritten letter. Kwon Ji-yong (; born August 18, 1988), best known as G-Dragon (), is a South Korean rapper, singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur, known as the "Honorific nicknames in popular music, King of K-pop". Teddy Park (born Park Hong-jun on September 14, 1978) is a Korean Americans, Korean–American Rapping, rapper, songwriter, and record producer. Born in Seoul, South Korea, Park moved to the United States with his family as a young child. When he was 17 years old, Park and his friend Taebin, Danny flew to South Korea during summer vacation to audition for YG Entertainment. Both were signed immediately, and after finishing high school in the States, moved to Korea to pursue music. Xavier Dulong de Rosnay (; born 1982) is a French Electronic music, electronic musician and one half of the duo Justice (band), Justice with Gaspard Augé.
