Antonio Eceiza (14 September 1935 – 15 November 2011) was a Spanish film director and screenwriter. He directed eleven films between 1960 and 1995. Elías Querejeta Gárate (27 October 1934 – 9 June 2013), also known as Elías Querejeta () and known in the Spanish film industry as "The Producer", was a Spanish screenwriter and film producer. He is the father of Gracia Querejeta. Biography Querejeta was born in Hernani, Spain, and played soccer for Real Sociedad. By the age of 18 he was making his debut in the La Liga, Spanish first division with San Sebastián's team, Real Sociedad (his position was midfielder; his brother José María also played, as a goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper). But his career in sports ended in 1959, when he moved to Madrid to set up his own film production company. Antonio Gades
Antonio Esteve RĂłdenas or Antonio Gades (14 November 1936 – 20 July 2004) was a Spanish flamenco dancer and choreographer. He helped to popularize the art form on the international stage. He was born in Elda, Alicante, and was the father of actress MarĂ­a Esteve and singer Celia Flores-- with his ex-partner Marisol, herself a popular actress and singer. Career Flamenco Gades's most notable works included dance adaptations of Prosper MĂ©rimĂ©e's ''Carmen'' and Federico GarcĂ­a Lorca's '' Blood Wedding'' (''Bodas de Sangre''), as well as a feature-length adaptation of Manuel de Falla's 23-minute ballet '' El amor brujo''. Luis Cuadrado Encinar (8 July 1934 – 18 January 1980) was a Spanish cinematographer. He became especially known for his work on the 1973 film ''The Spirit of the Beehive''. Early life and education Luis Cuadrado Encinar was born on 8 July 1934 in the town of Toro, in the province of Zamora in the autonomous community of Castile and León in Spain. His father, Santos Cuadrado, was a master glassmaker, who worked on the restoration of many cathedrals damaged in the Spanish Civil War. Luis initially tried glassmaking, but then switched to studying medicine, which he gave up after two years. He spent seven years at the (EOC), voluntarily repeating some of the courses in order to learn lighting techniques of certain masters, as well as gain experience in the Spanish film industry. Daniel Martín (12 May 1935 – 28 September 2009) was a Spanish actor. Martín was known for his role as Rafael in the film ''Los Tarantos'' (1963), directed by Francisco Rovira Beleta and starring Antonio Gades and Carmen Amaya. It was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film at 36th Academy Awards, 36th edition. He played Condor in the Spaghetti western film ''Blood River'' (1974), starring Fabio Testi, John Ireland (actor), John Ireland and Rosalba Neri, and Julián in ''A Fistful of Dollars'' (1964). Martín died from pancreatic cancer in Nuévalos, Zaragoza, on 28 September 2009, at the age of 74. Cristina Hoyos
Cristina Hoyos Panadero (born 13 June 1946) is a Spanish flamenco dancer, choreographer and actress, born in Seville, Spain. After a successful worldwide career, she opened her own dance company in 1988 that premiered at the Rex Theatre in Paris. She played an important role during the opening and closing ceremonies of the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. Career Hoyos started dancing at the age of twelve in the children's show ''Galas Juveniles''. Her teachers, Adelita Domingo and Enrique el Cojo, ignited her passion for dance. In 1969, she joined the ballet company of Antonio Gades where she continued her work for more than two decades.
