Øyvind Thorsen
Øyvind Thorsen (1943 – 4 May 2025) was a Norwegian journalist, causerist, revue writer, scriptwriter and author of humour books. Life and career Born in Tønsberg in 1943, Thorsen grew up in Nøtterøy, and later settled in Oslo. He worked as journalist for the newspaper from 1965, and for from 1968 to 1984, and thereafter as freelancer. He was a columnist for for several decades, under the signature Vito. He was also known for his radio causeries, including for the radio show and the column . He delivered material for several revue artists, including Arve Opsahl, Leif Juster, Aud Schønemann, and the Dizzie Tunes. Tønsberg
Tønsberg (), historically Tunsberg, is a List of towns and cities in Norway, city in Tønsberg Municipality in Vestfold county, Norway. It is located about south-southwest of the capital city of Oslo on the western coast of the Oslofjord near its mouth onto the Skagerrak. The city is the most populous metropolis in Vestfold county. Tønsberg also serves as the administrative centre for Vestfold county and the seat of the County governor (Norway), County Governor of Vestfold og Telemark. Aud Schønemann
Aud Schønemann (13 November 1922 – 30 October 2006) was a Norwegian actress, regarded by many as the leading comedienne of her generation in Norway. She was born in Østre Aker, and was a daughter of actor August Schønemann and dancer Dagmar Kristensen. She started her acting career in 1945, and is probably best known for her role as Valborg Jensen in the Olsenbanden movies, as Marve Fleksnes' mother on the long-running Norwegian television comedy '' Fleksnes Fataliteter'' and as the janitor's wife in the comedy film '' Skulle det dukke opp flere lik er det bare å ringe'' (based on the play ''BusyBody'' by Jack Popplewell). In 1993, she was knighted in the Royal Norwegian Order of St Olav. Her appearance in over 50 movies is supposedly a Norwegian record. The ''Olsen Gang'' (, ) is a Danish comedy film series created by Danish director Erik Balling and special effects expert Henning Bahs about the eponymous fictional criminal gang. The gang's leader is the criminal genius and habitual offender Egon Olsen and his accomplices are Benny and Kjeld (Kjell in Norwegian). The gang members are harmless, extremely rarely target ordinary citizens, and never deliberately use violence. Dizzie Tunes was a Norwegian musical show group from the city of Skien. Dizzie Tunes was one of the most successful in Norwegian show business. Biography The group was founded as the dance band ''Rex Band'' in 1959, was named ''Dizzie Tunes'' in 1962, and disbanded in 2002. The regular group members were Yngvar Numme, Svein-Helge Høgberg, Øyvind Klingberg, Tor Erik Gunstrøm and Einar Idland. Their record debut came in 1963 with the single "Mette Mette Mette". Leif Juster
Leif Juster (born Leif Normann Nilsen) (14 February 1910 – 25 November 1995) was a Norwegian comedian, singer and actor, arguably the most popular of his generation in Norway. Juster started out as a variety show performer, and for a period he ran the theater ''Edderkoppen''. Characterised by his unusually tall, lanky figure and squeeky voice, his signature act was the monologue "''Mot normalt''".
