Øyvind Storesund
Øyvind Storesund (born 9 March 1975 in Bø i Telemark, Norway) is a Norwegian Rock and jazz musician (upright bass) known from playing in the Norwegian bands Cloroform and Kaizers Orchestra. Career Storesund replaced the former bassist Jon Sjøen in the band Kaizers Orchestra, and is also a driving force on the free-jazz Avant-Garde scene, playing with Paal Nilssen-Love, Pauline Oliveros and Frode Gjerstad releasing the album ''This Is Not Sweden'' (2007), together with Peter Brötzmann. Cloroform
Cloroform is a Norwegian alternative rock band that formed in 1998 in Stavanger. They started out as an acoustic jazz trio, but soon went on to sound more like a rock band. In the later years they have experimented with noise and avant-garde related genres. Other projects The members of Cloroform are three versatile musicians. In addition to Cloroform they have several other projects on their hands. Børge Fjordheim has been co-producer and contributor as composer on several of Norway's leading pop acts, such as Sivert Høyem, Morten Abel and Lene Marlin. He has also co-composed and produced the song "Can't Beat the Feeling" on Kylie Minogue album ''Aphrodite'', released in 2010. Øyvind Storesund is one of Norway's most respected free-jazz avant-garde bassists, and is the bassplayer of Kaizers Orchestra. John Erik Kaada (born 28 July 1975), also known by the mononym Kaada, is a Norwegian singer-songwriter, producer, film score composer and multi-instrumentalist. ''Live i Oslo Spektrum'' is a live album released on CD, DVD and Blu-ray featuring Norwegian alternative rock band Kaizers Orchestra. It features their concert at Oslo Spektrum in Oslo, Norway on 9 April 2011, the official celebration of Kaizers Orchestra's tenth anniversary. The album was released on 11 November 2011 (coinciding with the release date of their eighth studio album, '' Violeta Violeta Vol. II'', and the stage premiere of their musical, ''Sonny''). Kaizerecords
Kaizers Orchestra is a Norwegian alternative rock band formed in Bergen on 1 January 2000. They are notable for being among the first non- black-metal Norwegian artists singing in their native language to become popular beyond Scandinavia. In 2012, the group announced that following a 2013 "Farewell Tour", they would take a long break. Their final concert was held on 14 September 2013 at DNB Arena in Stavanger, and was also streamed live online. In November 2022, following weeks of teasers and speculation, the band confirmed a reunion and comeback tour scheduled for 2023.
